Mission Statement

Dr Alethea McHardy

Dr Alethea McHardy

Dr Alethea McHardy started the Her Service Her Health Project with a simple goal in mind: to create a platform that makes it easy for people to access evidence based health research on

Ex-servicewomen.  This includes those who have served, are considering serving, charities who support veterans and policymakers.

Aims

Dr Alethea McHardy

Aims

Women are an under researched group. This is even more obvious when looking at women who have served in the military. Policies have historically been developed around research that does not include or has a small number of women. This research aims to address this imbalance and give policymakers accurate indepth knowledge to develop policies that embrace the women in our military.
